Mark joined Spectrum Syndicate Management Limited as Legal Counsel in August 2006, having previously represented major clients in the London and international insurance and reinsurance markets for 11 years as a solicitor at Lovells (1995-1999), Eversheds (1999-2001) and Barlow Lyde & Gilbert (2001-2006) respectively. Prior to this, Mark practiced law in Australia for three years, which included a spell as a solicitor in the insurance litigation section of Clayton Utz, solicitors.

Mark obtained his law degree from Trinity College, Cambridge and was called to the English Bar in November 1992. Mark is also admitted as a solicitor in England and in various jurisdictions in Australia.

Julie has worked in the Lloyd's Market for 24 years. She was appointed Company Secretary for the Spectrum and Amalfi group companies in May 2007, having worked for Spectrum Syndicate Management Limited since its formation in April 2002 and the Crowe Group since April 1992. Prior to joining Crowe, Julie worked for Anton Members Agency Limited (formerly Merrett Syndicates Limited) for 8 years in the Members Agency, initially in a secretarial/administrative position and later in a finance/ bookkeeping position.

Jo has worked in the Lloyd's Market for over 20 years. She has been part of the Risk & Compliance team at Spectrum since the company's formation in 2002 and performed a similar role for its predecessor, Crowe Syndicate Management Ltd.

Prior to joining Crowe, Jo worked for the Corporation of Lloyd's initially in the Membership Department with responsibility for administering Names Funds at Lloyd's and latterly in the Regulatory Division with responsibility for reviewing Lloyd’s agents, brokers and syndicates.

Jo is Spectrum's Chief Risk Officer and has responsibility for all aspects of the company's risk management function. In addition Jo is involved in many of the compliance and monitoring tasks associated with the management of both active and run-off syndicates.

Rory has worked in information technology for over 10 years, primarily in software analysis and development. He joined Spectrum as a contractor in 2004 before moving to a permanent role in charge of Spectrum applications development and support some 6 months later. He has been the general IT Manager at Spectrum since August 2007. Rory has a Bachelors Degree from the University of Kwazulu/Natal, South Africa.
